Aluminium Sulfate (Al2(SO4)3)
Used as a coagulant to remove suspended particles and impurities from water.
Product Description
Aluminium sulfate (Al2(SO4)3) is one of the most widely used coagulants in water and wastewater treatment. When added to water, it neutralises the charge of fine suspended particles, allowing them to form flocs that settle quickly and can be removed through sedimentation and filtration.
Typical applications
- Clarification of drinking water and process water
- Industrial and municipal wastewater treatment
- Paper and pulp production (sizing and retention)
- Pre-treatment before filtration systems
Why choose it
Aluminium sulfate is economical, easy to dose, and effective for reducing turbidity, colour and suspended solids. It performs best within a moderate pH range, so alkalinity adjustment may be needed depending on raw water quality.
PT Kreasimuda Dwitama supplies aluminium sulfate for industrial and treatment plant needs. Contact our team for availability, packaging options and a quotation.
